Note: The National Chaplain Center is about 2 miles from the Hotel.

Program Ends: Saturday, March 13, 2010 @ 9:00 pm
March 10, and March 13 are designated travel days.
Travel Information:
1. Your travel clerk should prepare your travel authority.
2. Obtain your travel authority and advance travel funds.
3. Obtain a traveler’s itinerary worksheet from your travel clerk.
4. Please do not schedule your return flight less than
two hours following the conclusion of the program.
Because of strict security measures, passengers are urged to arrive at the airport at least two (2) hours before their fight
due to increased time it may take to get through airline ticketing and security.
Funding: Travel expenses are to be funded by each Board Member’s Station, or the individual. Other members of the Association are invited and encouraged to attend the Executive Board Meeting

A block of rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Central is being held under the name DVA National Black Chaplains or the group code DVA.
Plan to arrive on Thursday, March 10, 2011.

no later than February 15th to get the DVA discount rate of $77.00 plus tax.
Note: The rate is $77.00 for single or double occupancy (if available) plus local taxes and fees. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 11:00A. If your plans change you must cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior to arrival or your credit card will be billed and you will be responsible for these
charges.
Dress will be business casual.
Ground Transportation: Complimentary hotel shuttle service from the airport is NOT available. The airport shuttle service may
be obtained at the airport in Norfolk, or Newport News Airport. It is less expensive than a taxi.
Meals: There will be a no host working lunch on Friday, and an evening no-host group fellowship dinner on Saturday.
